HALF MARATHON, 10 MILER & 12K START - Sunset Park, Coronado
Directions are for athlete drop off only. There is NO parking at the startline Park, you may park in the surrounding neighborhood. Take 1-5 south to Hwy 75/Coronado Bridge (Proposed Exit 14A). Go west across the bridge to Orange Ave. Turn left on Orange Ave. Turn right on 10th St. Go 4 blocks and turn left on G Ave. This will take you to Ocean Blvd. The start is 4 blocks to the right. There is NO parking at Sunset Park and along Ocean Blvd, YOU MAY park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk to the start.
5K START - Silver Strand State Beach - 5000 Hwy 75.
Take 5 South to CA-75 N/Palm Ave. Take exit 5A from I-5 S for CA-75/Palm Ave. Continue on CA-75 N to your destination in Coronado- Look for Silver Strand Stae Beach Exit Signs.
5K Participants should park at Silver Strand State Beach where your start and finish are located.
Bus Shuttles
PARKING AND SHUTTLE OPTIONS
Attention Athletes we have a new course for this year with a new expo venue and finish location at Silver Strand State Beach. As the route and finish have changed there are new parking and shuttle options. Please note for this event.
ALL 5K participants park at the Silver Strand State Beach
NO Half Marathon and 10-mile athletes park at the Silver Strand State Beach
Again, there will be NO busses at Silver Strand State Beach to bring you to the start.
All Half Marathon, 10 Mile & 12K have three parking and shuttle choices. Each location has limited availability so all athletes must select a FREE shuttle pass option. Although they are free, there are still only a certain amount of parking spaces at each location. Select one of three locations and bring your bus ticket to get on the bus. All athletes will be returned to their location after the event.
Bus tickets are selected online and will be picked up at registration with your bib number.

Parking and Shuttle options are as follows
5K – No bus tickets. Start and finish at the Silver Strand State Beach. You will need a parking pass to park at the state beach which will be given to you at packet pick up. 5K Participants MUST pick up their bib and parking pass on Friday or Saturday or you will incur a $10 late fee to pick up on race morning. Please consult website or Final Information email for details.
Half Marathon, 10 Mile & 12K choose from either of these three locations:
City Hall
Spaces at City Hall and surrounding area Including the Community Center, Glorietta Bay, Strand Way, Silver Strand Blvd Northbound, Avenida Lunar & Avenida Del Sol. Park anywhere in this area and walk to City Hall to catch the shuttle.
Pick up at the Glorietta Bay Park Promenade 1835 Strand Way, Coronado, CA 92118.
Tidelands Park
Mullinex and surrounding area street parking. Park and walk to Tidelands Park to catch the shuttle.
Pick up at 2000 Mullinex Dr, Coronado, CA 92118
Sunset Park - No Shuttle Needed to Start
Surrounding area street parking only. Walk to the start line from this location. There is no shuttle to catch in the morning.
Buses run from 5:15 AM through 6:45 AM. Bus tickets will reflect your bus time and can be selected at time of registration. Bus times slots are first come first serve.
Post-Race
All busses drop at City Hall, Sunset Park and Tidelands Park in that order beginning at 9:30 AM. Each bus is the same. It does not matter which bus you get on; they all make three stops.
Carpool – Please carpool. Parking is always limited so the more athletes that come together the better.
Spectators – There is additional parking outside Silver Strand State Beach on Coronado Cays Blvd just across the street. There is plenty of street parking with a walk to the Finish line. Additional parking passes for the State Beach may be available for spectators. Check with registration at any of the packet pick-up locations. They will be free, just ask.
